Hopeful

I am feeling so much more hopeful and positive about the world than I did last month. The election of Obama is a wonderful thing for the world. I know that it'll be hard...but it's a start. You just have to see the celebrations around the world to understand. I'm Canadian but I am overjoyed. This is the America that I was brought up to believe in...
I've been listening to a lot of people who were around in the 60s. I think those of us who were alive in the 1960s feel this election very keenly.
I feel so much lighter, and hopeful, and positive. It's a wonderful feeling.
