January 25, 2009 is the 250th anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns. I've been writing about a lot of his poems on my Scottish Culture site. My latest article is a description of what goes on at a Burns Supper. Burns Suppers are held every year around January 25th, they include lots of whiskey, haggis, poetry, songs and sometimes dancing.
