Bibliobibuli - Literary Blog

One of the tasks of the 31 Days to a Better Blog challenge was to find a blog you liked, preferably in your niche, and to write a link post about it.

Well, it took me a few days but I have found a blog that I really want to share with you. It took me so long because it is very hard to find literary blogs out there. Not many of them reach the top spots on places like Technorati or in Google. But I always search for them, more and more blogs are about how to earn money online. That is fine but I wish literary blogs got as much attention; to some of us books are more important than money.

The name of the blog I finally settled on is Bibliobibuli, and is written by Sharon Bakar Petaling Jaya. As she herself says, she "battles serious book dependency." I can certainly identify with that.

Sharon's blog offers a lot of advice about publishing and about the book industry as a rule. It is a mixed bag of writing advice, book reviews, book award news and whatever book news catches her eye. The blog is pleasant to look at and it has lots of photographs to break up the text. I was happy to find a blog without the flashing animations and overdone ads that make a blog look cheap and amateurish. The blog is written in a very friendly manner that makes you to want to comment on the posts or to share them with others. The site is very professional looking and the ads that are there are not intrusive in the least.

I definitely will be back to this blog and I hope you will visit Bibliobibuli soon, you won't be disappointed.

Thank you. I wish literary blogs were easier to find too.

I'm not sure why that is, but I think you're right, more people are looking for ways to make money on the internet.

I've enjoyed reading Uninvited Writer as well~

Cheers~

Found you on the problogger.com blog challenge. I followed you on twitter. I have been trying to stir up a day for discussing books and today someone suggested Foliofriday, so maybe something will come of it. Stay tuned. I would think you could find lots of literary bloggers on twitter. Take a look at my blog about books and travel, which is not true reviews, but is about literature rather than guidebooks.
